Heritage
Vale Bridgecraft today reflects 146 years of quality furniture manufacturing and, as in the past, means people passionate about upholstery, determined to offer the kind of special quality that remains (as the old saying goes) hard to define but easy to recognize.
Traditionally, quality furniture making
Selection of the right materials is key, so they use only solid Beech and Birch for their frames. These kiln-dried hardwoods come from managed forests, complying with FSC and PEFC sustainability standards. The frames are hand sawn and shaped and fitted together with double dwelling and brass screws for ideal stability. The seating is supported by reinforced, British steel coil springs.
